PHILOSOPHY

I believe that every person has a creative spirit that is waiting to unfold, and my goal is to tap into that part of each individual and see it flourish. In my teaching practice, I incorporate an array of different media and styles to help guide the student to find their own creative voice and method for self-expression. My approach is to use positive reinforcement to inspire students' personal growth throughout the learning process.

PRACTICE

As an art educator, I teach the creative arts through photography, painting, sculpture, fashion accessory design and mixed media art. I am an out-of-the-box thoughtful thinker with skills based in kindness and patience, and someone who is able to adapt and tailor my approach towards each individual student's needs, including those with special needs. Intimate groups and one-on-one sessions with students of all ages, from Pre-K through adults, are my specialty.

For those looking to learn Spanish, I offer lessons through artistic project-based methods where I introduce vocabulary, grammar and sentence structure in an engaging way. These activities have helped visual and kinesthetic learners learn the romance language in a dynamic way, all the while acquiring new creative skills.
